Organizational Offerings

What makes cosyn offerings unique is our co-development and co-creation approach.

All of our offerings are rooted in the belief that people have agency and know what they need to thrive. Instead of doing the research and then reporting back, our approach invites members of the organization to gather their own knowledge and use it to create their preferred futures. We have found that organizations tend to follow through with strategic planning and coaching if they are the ones directly involved in the process of creating it.

Strategic Planning with an Equity Focus

cosyn's strength is in creating community-developed strategic plans with an equity focus. These roadmaps are based on a human system’s self-inquiry to find when it is at its best and how to do more of it.

Co-creating roadmaps with as many members of every level of an organization as possible allows for an inclusive decision-making process and yields more buy-in for implementation (as people have a direct say in its creation.) We are also experts at creating diversity, equity, and inclusion strategic plans.

Organizational Coaching

The goal of our coaching is to support employees and professionals to bring out their greatest strengths and consider ways to put them into practice in their everyday work life. It is an action-oriented space that is future-focused. We specialize in coaching people, especially new managers, in embedding equity values in their work and teams. Employees/professionals come out with a plan to put their goals into action.

DEI Advising and Policy Development

As a complement to our strategic plan offering, cosyn offers advising on individual projects/action items with a focus on team dynamics/culture. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to

  • Policy equity review and advising

  • Workplace culture planning (mission/vision, shared values, norms)

  • Hiring practices (setting up hiring structures, unconscious bias)

  • Diversity sourcing programming (student and employee pathways design)

  • Research-based community engagement

  • Curricular reform (for learning institutions)
